Job Summary:

This Junior MES Consultant job description reflects the ability of working closely with senior consultants and client teams to assist in the implementation, configuration, and optimization of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES). This is an exciting entry-level position for recent graduates or individuals with some experience in manufacturing IT systems, MES, or automation. As a Junior Consultant, you will learn on-the-job while contributing to impactful projects, gaining valuable skills, and advancing in the field of MES consulting.

Key Qualifications:

• Basic understanding of IT systems, networking, and databases (e.g., SQL).
• Familiarity with MES platforms or other manufacturing software (e.g., Siemens Opcenter, Rockwell FactoryTalk, SAP ME, etc.) is a plus.
• Exposure to programming or scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python, SQL) is a plus.
• Familiarity with PLCs, SCADA systems, or industrial automation is a bonus.

Experience (in years):

• Some experience (e.g., internships, academic projects, or 1-2 years of work experience) in MES, manufacturing IT, or automation is highly desirable but not required.
• Familiarity with MES concepts and technologies (e.g., production tracking, process control, batch/lot management) is a plus. Exposure to ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) is advantageous.

Academic Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, pharmacy, biotechnology, IT, engineering, or a related field.
